The Maestro’s Mix by Adam Bawany
I entered the world of digital arts way back in 2008. However, I soon had to come to terms with the reality of what the business landscape offered to budding artists like me in those days. Especially in Pakistan – a struggling developing country.
This led me to incline towards other domains in the industry that paid well – UI/UX designer and website designer and front end developer. And so, this is what I did for 4 years.
In 2012, my life took another twist when I cofounded a software and web development company with my brother. That’s when the artist in me disappeared somewhere in the deep layers of my brain. Being the COO, my main focus was now to keep my company afloat and take it through the difficult first five years.
However, the flames started burning again in early Feb 2022 when I joined Ben Yu’s Nas Academy Course and learned about NFT’s. The Adam of 2008 again resurfaced with creative juices in full force.
This is my first attempt at NFT’s. And as surprising as it could be, the artist in me has survived all these hard years of entrepreneurship.
The Concept Behind Maestro’s Mix
The basic concept that drives Maestro’s
Mix comes from blending different colors
that gives birth to an entirely new
color. Just like fusing primary colors
results in the creation of secondary
colors, Maestro’s Mix takes this a step
further.
Maestro’s Mix aims to explore all
possible outcomes of color fusions by
attempting to blend two or more colors
with a hint of tint or shade that gives
a unique output every time. Touching
base with the color theory, which
revolves around the concept of the color
wheel, Maestro’s Mix is inspired by the
harmonious blends and outcomes of
various color shades.

What Makes Maestro’s Mix Valuable
Each color outcome is a harmonious
combination between two or more colors
and each outcome reflects a new
possibility. Every new color created, as
a result of fusing colors, embodies a
different and unique emotion.
Maestro’s Mix adds perception to life.
Each unique shade sparks a new feeling.
Most of all, Maestro’s Mix is a true
depiction of sheer joy. It is a world
full of opportunities. It transports you
into a world without despair, a world of
fulfillment; Maestro’s Mix is simply
magic!

The Ingredients & Processes Used In Making The Maestro’s Mix
The most basic shape in The Maestro’s Mix is the circle. 8 circles each with 8 different colors and 9 positions to rotate them in. There are also three positions of rings, that go into The Maestro’s Mix. A ring can either be Tint or Shade. The 8 circles with 8 basic colors along with the three rings rotate in these positions overlapping each other and creating a lovely mix every time you mint it.
This is how the algorithm of The Maestro’s Mix works:
1 - Firstly, it proceeds with selecting a background from 4 possible colors: white, light grey, dark grey, black with a chance of each being selected 50%,25%,15%,10% respectively, with black being the rarest of them all.
2 - Then it proceeds with a layer of multiple colored-circles appearing in the following positions: top left, top center, top right, center left, absolute center, center right, bottom left, bottom center, and bottom right, each having an equal chance to be selected by the algorithm.
3 - The absolute center of the mix must be filled with a single random colored-circle in all cases.
4 - Furthermore, there is a 60% chance of each position, having their own random colored-circle appearing, as per the algorithm.
5 - Lastly, there are 3 rings (inner, outer and center) available, with each ring having a 30% chance of appearing as per the algorithm.
Possible Outcomes
There are Millions of possible outcomes to The Maestro’s Mix, each unique to the other and as astounding as the previous one.
